Prayer for Our Catholic Schools All Praise to You, Heavenly Father, Lord of All Creation: You have Gathered Us in This
Holy Family Catholic Regional Division to Praise You by our Words
and Works. Bless our Schools which have been Established for the
Catholic Education of our Young People. Bless our Students and
Teachers, our Parents, Pastors, Board Members, Employees and All who
Promote Sound Education in our Area. May our Youth Grow in Wisdom,
Age and Grace Before You and All Your People. May our Schools Always
be Homes of Truth and Wisdom, of Faith and Good Will Toward All.
Through the Prayers of our Patron Saints, May our Schools Help our
Communities, and Foster the Advancement of Your Kingdom of Justice,
Light and Peace.
Amen
Welcome“Providence” means “God’s care and help” and “prepare for the future” according to Webster’s Dictionary. These definitions have not changed regarding McLennan’s only school. The school building itself has been renovated and updated to facilitate the latest technology and to create a warm and inviting environment for McLennan’s Kindergarten to Grade 9 students. The staff, students, and parents have been working hard to create a bully-free culture of learning and teaching. Providence School is certainly worthy of all of McLennan’s elementary and junior high students.
Providence School is a Catholic
School. That means the staff, students, and parents believe in Jesus
Christ and strive to live in the Catholic life style. Providence
School is also “catholic” with a small “c”, meaning universal, open
to all, and willing to accept all of the students in McLennan,
regardless of where they are on their faith journey. The expectation
is that new students desire to learn, be willing to grow for the
better, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
