Additional Information:

Glenmary  School located in Peace River, Alberta requires Casual Educational Assistants to work on an on-call basis. Casual Educational Assistants will be working and supporting students’ individualized learning needs in a Junior/Senior High School environment. The assignment includes working with students who have complex needs in classrooms, small groups, and one-to-one settings. Casual Educational Assistants requires a basic knowledge and understanding of inclusive education, Indigenous students, and English as a second language. Successful candidates must be willing to live in a rural Catholic community environment and support the Catholic school environment. Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic Faith.


  • Completion of grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • May require a valid Class 5 Driver’s license
  • Technology and computer related skills
  • May require specialized training and/or experience dependent on students
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team player
  • Physical ability to perform the required duties
