St. Andrew’s School located in High Prairie, AB requires 2 Full-Time (1.00 FTE) Generalist
Teacher positions starting as soon as possible ending June 28, 2019 with the possibility of
ongoing position.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for teaching a range of courses and
assignment coverage in primarily in grades 1-9 with possibility of some coverage in senior high.
The position may include teaching in core subjects assigned dependent on the candidate’s skill
The successful candidate, ideally, will have a knowledge and understanding of inclusive
education, First Nation Metis and Inuit students. Have ability and skills to support students who
require individualized programs, enrichment, modifications and/or accommodations to their
learning. The successful candidate requires proficiency in the use of educational technology, an
understanding of assessment for/of learning and be eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.
Position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
HFCRD #37 division is actively recruiting teachers for upcoming positions and welcomes new
graduates to apply. The division provides ongoing supportive mentorship, orientation and
coaching for all new and beginning teachers, competitive compensation and benefits, as well as
moving allowances.

The candidate must be willing to work in school rural Catholic community environment. The
candidate must be a team player willing to collaborate, communicate, and work together.
Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
